In this documentary the story of the Brazilian Soccer club is told to the world. Events that lead up to the tragic death of 71 of 77 passengers aboard Lamia 2933. The author uses formal diction with a mix of personal accounts to get the true story from the survivors of the plane crash. There is a lot of pathos that is involved with the story as it is being told. "The day was horrible, he recalls as rain fell like tears (Mackenna 13)". The imagery used in the story is also present as the survivors recall their tragic moneys leading up to the crash. The author has a mournful tone throughout the article because he includes the personal accounts of almost everyone who was involved in the plane crash. The purpose of the author to write this is for the people of the world especially the soccer organizations to get informed. Adding feelings and true experiences to the article adds a humane perspective that people can look through. In the end the author is able to portray a sentimental image for the survivors as well as the players who didn't survive this tragic event. Lamia 2933 never made it to Bogota Colombia to play the Copa Sudamerica but they did make it to a better place as they flew right into heaven according to Yaneth Molina the operator in charge that night at the local airport. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2745392-a-year-later-questions-and-hurt-remain-from-chapecoense-tragedy?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial
